Kyla Pratt has been off of the scene for a while since her stint on ‘One on One’ with Flex Alexander and now we know why. During her visit to 106 and Park yesterday evening, she announced that she delivered a baby girl name Lyric Kai Kirkpatrick almost a year ago. Now, the 25-year old is returning to to TV as Crystal on BET’s scripted series ”Let’s Stay Together” in January 2012.
Last night’s episode of 106 wasn’t the first time that Kyla shared her baby secret. In the latest issue of Sister 2 Sister magazine, Kyla talked about growing up with in a big family, which is part of the reason why she’s a mother today.
I’ve grown up in a house where I’m the oldest so I’ve been a second mom to my brothers and sisters. I’ve just always wanted to be a mom. My daughter is 10 months and I feel like I’m still not caught up on rest since my 36th week of pregnancy.
